On the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr Aziz, with the efforts of all colleagues at Petro Omid Asia Company, 4 crude oil tanks with a capacity of 2 million barrels (Dike 5) were put into operation, and for the first time in the history of the Iran oil industry, crude oil on the coast of Makran (sea Oman) was stored.
This capacity and the presence of oil storage in the region, in addition to the possibility of developing related industries such as refining, petrochemicals, will reduce the route of oil tankers to any part of the world, including the Suez Canal or East Asia, by at least 2000 km, and there will be no need for Iranian oil tankers to pass through the high-traffic Strait of Hormuz.
In order to secure oil storage conditions, the fire extinguishing system, including three fire tanks with a capacity of 45 thousand cubic meters and four fire pumps, has been put into operation. At the same time, with the installation and operation of 4 diesel oil pumps and related lines, conditions for sending 700 thousand barrels of oil to the wharf have been provided.
All the efforts of the Petromid Asia team are aimed at increasing the usable capacity from 2 million barrels to 4 million barrels within a short period of time (next 1 to 2 months) by setting up 4 tanks of Dyke 1.
We dedicate this great event to the great spirit supporting the resistance in the world of politics, Dr. Hossein Amir Abdulhian.
